PROJECTS
Brand Jordan
The 25TH Anniversary pop up at 166 FLATBUSH in Brooklyn was an amazing project that found me working with One Hundred as the lead designer concepting and designing both the aesthetic and layout of this epic shopping experience.
High Quality
A successful first-mover in the Oregon cannabis market needed to increase their brand appeal and become visually competitive amidst a rising tide of peers. We identified that their current customer experience was disjointed and confusing. So we redesigned both their brand identity and their physical spaces to create better flow, synergy, and a seamless customer experience, and keep them in a market leadership position.
Churchkey Beer
The challenge and opportunity was to create a novel customer experience of an everyday product, referencing historic design but with a modern appeal. The company needed a brand that was both classic and current, and packaging that ensured a fun interaction. We leveraged a combination of modern and historic design, printing, and packaging techniques and created a product that ignited a cult following.
Work Undone
In my never-ending fascination with entrepreneurship, I created a podcast to answer the question “How in the world do makers actually make a living making products by hand”? Check it out here.
Open Signal
A local nonprofit Open Signal operates as a media arts center to provide video and editing skills as well as studio space and events for the Portland community. I designed their office space to create a flexible and collaborative workspace.
The Juicery
The Juicery is a juice bar at Whole Food grocery store in the Portland metro area. I designed the branding, advised on the use of color, materials, and overall aesthetic in the shop's built environment. The goal was to create a simple, modern, and welcoming space that customers would enjoy. (Hired as a Creative Director via Brew House Media)
Subway Book Review
This is a fantastic Instagram project that my friend started by asking strangers on the New York City subway about what they were reading. I partnered with her to design the logo, business cards, and brand strategy. Subway Book Review
Seven Sisters
Seven Sisters is a charming Portland boutique that predominantly carries lines by female designers and makers and is committed to supporting small, women-owned businesses. The owner hired me to design the branding, consult on business strategies, and advise on the overall look and feel of the interior to ensure that it aligned with the brand. One of the strategies I purposed led to an opportunity for me to designing and hand paint the tagline "Share Something Beautiful" on the front window, a great way for a new business to increase visibility on a busy street.
